I dont know if i should paint my 66 coupe back to it's original color light blue. Does a unoriginal paint job subtract from the value of the car. I have blue interior and want to paint the car back blue, but not the same color blue.

I used to have a car that was this cool color called Crystal blue, its a ford color from the 90s. I don't know if stangs came that color or not but man it was a purrdy silverish blue. I'll see if I can find the color code tommarow at work.

Here’s the best thing about owning a classic car. You can do any damn thing you want to! If you are to truly enjoy your car, make it the way YOU want to. My mustang is Wimbledon white, but not for long. I am planning to paint it with House of Kolor Brandywine Kandy with Black cherry metal flake Shelby stripes. It will go with the red interior.
So enjoy it………Cheers………[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

I know the blue I"m going with when it comes paint time, Jeep has a color that ROCKS! Midnight Pearl blue w/metal flakes. Girlfriend just got an 05 Grand Cherokee with that color, and it is SWEET. Looks dark enough to be black in certain light.

Charlie.........You know dang good and well you aren't going to sell that Mustang, so what are you concerned about resale value anyhow? Paint the dang car whatever color you want, then inherit it to your grandson so he can paint it whatever color he wants. Good grief!!!! That's a no-brainer.
