infopage for iphone/itouch
Hi all,
if you have an iphone or itouch, please check this out. If you don't like to read, skip and just go to the link below (using iphone/itouch)
half year ago I wanted to make a windows application with all those online calculators.
Since I seldom bring a laptop to the garage i thought ... haw about an iphone application. I'm missing two things:
a) a mac to develop
b) the will to pay 100$ to apple to sign me up as developer.
So I came across a way to create nice websites that lookalike iphone apps (iwebkit).
So far I have the basics together. A calculator for carb cfm. a calculator for tyre diameter
what will follow at least will be a gearing calculator for relation of engine rpm and gear and speed.
(maybe even where you can select the gearbox by name)
probably all those dragrace calculators (1/4mile ET,speed->HP)
I'm planning as well to include things like a holley numerical listing.
Holley has that as a pdf but downloading them with phone is a nightmare as it's huge. For that I need to figure how i can connect to SQL database which I can feed with the info, so it doesn't have to be all downloaded ...
Anyway, give it a shot. I'll keep doing this as I sometimes need it for myself, any ideas let me know
looks horrible when you use a PC!!

the two functioning calculators work great on my iphone, keep up the good work!
do you still have that article about starting issues and how to diagnose starting problems? if i recall there was a really good wiring diagram included that i would like, unless i'm thinking of something else. i saved the link, but it doesn't work anymore.
