Default MP Product Overhead Console

Well, I was bidding on nice overhead console on eBay, but was outbid at the end. Anyhow, I have been entertaining the MP Products consoles, and while not exactly OEM correct, they are $200+ less expensive than the Scott Drake pieces and may serve its purpose.

I was wondering if anyone here had any experience or suggestions with this console. It does not use brackets and the install directions are a little vague....

I see what you mean abou the directions. First they say to drill holes in the roof rail and then say predrilling of the roof rail holes is not needed. It sounds like is would be fairly easy to install though. Screws in the front and back that go into the roof brackets and plug in the wires. If you do the wiring the way they say you will not have a dome light when you open the door. If you have courtesy lights under the dash they will be on all the time too. That problem would need to be fixed.
