Welcome to the site.

Nobody is harsh in here, we are pretty much laid back. I have put a blower on a Ford since1997. It was an 89 fox convertible with EFI, so no pointers to give. Got any pics of your car?

I might rag on you a bit if you are a Sooners fan since Im originally from Nebraska.

As a University of Texas guy I'll rag on him from the South. We got him boxed in with Nebraska from the North and UT from the South.

Welcome to the site. Like Thumpin, I haven't messed with a blower in MANY years. I had a 6 71 on a 283 in the early seventies. The problems that I had to overcome in those days should not be hurdles with todays ignition systems.

For me the key was LOTS of accelerator pump, limited centrifugal advance and tight spark plug gaps. Once I figured all that out, it ran like there was no tomorrow. That was with a point ignition. With today's flame thrower ignition systems, half your battle is taken care of.

Yeah, Ive got pics, but not on this PC. And Im not a sooners fan, just live here in Tulsa while im at school lol. Ive got a demon 575 on the way from BG thats setup for hat BT systems, and Im in the process of locating a P1SC. I was thinking about using an HEI seetup for the ignition with a BTM unit from MSD. Dig ur 71s front suspension lol.
