Default suspension/wiring thoughts

hey guys putting together my plans for the spring and summer. im planning to drive the car a little bit this summer as a "rolling restoration" until winter when ill tackle the bigger tasks (cowl and rocker panel) wanted your guys thoughts on my suspension and wiring ideas. bear in mind im already planning to strip the fender aprons and most the engine bay while i have the suspension off and repaint.

suspension list:
front-
*Shelby/Arning Drop*
laurel mountain heavy duty UCA's & LCA's
ORP roller perches
ORP GT350 1" lower springs
new rubber strut rod bushings
1" sway bar with new bushings and end links
gr-2's

rear-
grab-a-trac GT leafs
new shackles, bolts, bushings
gr-2's

did i miss anything?

for wiring since ill be doing the whole car i was looking at both the painless kit and stock replacements. with the painless rebate through summit it ends up at about the same cost as stock wiring. my question to you is which do you find best? since this wont be a concours car the cutting of the firewall doesnt bother me, i just want a easy install with good safe wiring.

thanks in advance!

What are you looking to do with the car? any track time or just a really well driving street machine?

You missed the 1" shelby/arning drop unless you've done it already

Why are you replacing the wiring? It is not very often I find a car that the wiring is so bad that I have to replace all the wiring.

wiring i want to replace for peice of mind mostly, i guess the way i see it if its all new it should all work, right? i know my headlight harness and engine sensor harness both have many freys and in some cases missing connections. this is one case where the stock replacement looms would be benificial as i could replace harness as i work my way back on the car thus saving the bank account from one big hit.

The stock replacement harness is fine if you want to keep it all stock. But if you want a high watt stereo or stuff like power windows or locks its better to upgrade to something like painless.I just rewired my truck with a kit from rebel-wire.com being a universal kit it was cheaper.Painless is nice but your paying mostly for the name.

The way I over came that was to run one thick wire from the starter soleniod to under the dash and attached an auxillary fuse block so could run the power windows, door locks and stereo from that. The under hood harnesses always get tore up that doesn't mean you need to replace it all. The main harness under the dash is probibly ok.

Who makes the HD Laurel mtn. UCA/LCA? do they list or state a manuf. such as Moog or McQuay Norris? wonder who their suppliers is. I just picked up a pair of Moog quality LCA from Virginia Classic Mustangs for $50ea. which is a great price, John at ORP is getting some sets at that price for his kits.

What stance are you going for? I'm guessing you want somewhat lowered look with the fender lip closer to the tire than stock with the 1" drop springs.

For the rear are the G-A-T GT leafs standard eye, mideye or reverse eye? How many leaf -4? The eye placement will make a difference on where your rear sits and whether it's higher/ raked (standard eye), fairly level with front 1" drop (mideye) or slammed (reverse eye).

I've done all that you mentioned and am really impressed with the improved ride, especially the new rear 4 1/2 leaf mideye leafs, they made a big difference on steering and front end push/twist. I'm also using the GR-2's and am happy with the ride quality, sporty but not harsh or sloppy a good shock for the price.

Can't help you much with the wiring as I stayed with stock and just built my own small piece harnesses as needed for bigger alt., headlight relays, driving lights, etc.
