Default Dash Conversion

Does anyone know if the dash/steering column/heater box, etc will fit in a 65 Mustang. I have a wrecked 89 5.0 that I am going to use on a 65. My goal is to pretty much have a 65 Mustang body on the 89 suspension/motor/trans (5 Speed)/rearend/interior. I saw the 65 that had the 03 cobra stuff converted. HELP

the dash in a 65 is part of the body of the car.... you can install the computer etc if you want from the 89 but the dash will require cutting and welding to use

I have seen one early mustang with a fox body interior it looked ugly. The front suspension from the fox body would be a down grade its strut on spindle. The oem suspension is better only thing it really needs is coilovers that got to the lower a arm then it will handle great.

The engine and trans would be it i would use.Only way id use the 8.8 is if my car was a inline 6 with the 7.5.If your car is a v8 the 8 inch is better design then the 8.8.

I love the fox body interior especially 87-93, but only in a fox not a classic. Now the seats with the right upholstery are a good upgrade, but I would skip the rest.
