Urban, I don't really know how much the rear bar affects traction at the strip. My thinking is that the rear bar could cause wheel hop on one side to transfer to the other side, but I could be wrong. I just know that people tend to remove the front bar for less suspension bind and better weight transfer.

I will have to look into the affect of the sway bar, front and back, on weight transfer and thus traction with respect to drag racing. My thinking was the rear sway bar would help transfer the weight evenly to both back tires thus aiding in traction while helping the weight unload even with the front sway bar, but I may be in left field.
