new guy with a 69 MACH 1
New to this site so excuse me if this has been answered before. Tried to post earlier but now I cannot find any record of it.... 2nd try...
I have a 69 MACH I. I have had it since late 70. Was driven many years but has been stored and kind of forgotten.
I am now restoring it. Have never been fond of the green and I am torn about the fact that I am going to restore this and use the green.. All the old friends and my brother have never know it different and have told me to keep the same. (Oh the memories, if this car could talk.)
Where can I find info on the ugly green paint? I have been looking around and now need to get serious about this because it will be about 3 weeks to the paint shop.
I would really like to put some metalic (sp) in it.
I was told that there were darker colors on the 69 MACH's but I have only known green, black, red and blue.
Any help?
Thanks,
Tom

I remember seeing a chart with paint codes and colors on this forum before. I think you are refering to my orignal color also, though I have never seen it. Lime gold maybe?

Wow, Took me a bit to figure how to reply....... Duhhhhhh
Thanks for the welcome's and the info......
Mark, That's more colors than I needed to know. Had no idea. The only lime green I remember was some gal's slacks left in the back seat. (just a 70's joke).
Anyway, I need to come up with a color to have it painted.
I think it is a Silver Jade. I appreciate the info....... Enjoy looking at the differnt PIC's........
I would post a Pic if I could figure that out. Don't need any smileys........ I was always kind of a kilroy type.
