Default 1969 302 Question - Value

Sorry, I am not sure where to post this, but I am trying to get an idea of value on this car. I know anything offered is only opinion, but I am not sure how else to do it without hiring someone. The car is not in running condition (I actual posted a thread about it here to get some ideas, sounds like it could be a simple fluids issue - https://mustangforums.com/forum/clas...anmission.html). I know this makes it difficult to offer any kind of value estimate, but you guys can put any conditions on opinions you offer. I appreciate any help that can be offered on this. We have a friend that wants to restore it, but we have no idea what to tell him we want for it. In all the photos, the brown is just dirt/dust, not wear in the paint, though the paint is faded. There is also fender damage that can seen in the photos.

Can we get some more info on the car? Options, tranny, rear end, interior etc. These things will change the value of the car.

Buying a non running car is a pig and a poke. If you could get it to run, even if it's knocking, it would allow prospective buyers to more completely evaluate it.

As 71Mach points out, more information will help folks here to estimate it's value.

It's an Automatic. I'm not sure about options, once upon a time it had working ac. Roof and floor upholstery has been redone. Seats and dash are original but are showing their age. That's all I can think of, are there any other features you might suggest?

I was thinking around $1500- $2000, so Monster your estimate is helpful.

thanks everyone!

Is it manual drum brakes? Power disc? Power steering? Things like that.

i wouldn't dish out more than 1500 on a non-runner.
Check the cowl (pour a gallon of water down the cowl in front of windscreen).
if it's coming out the inside of car->major repair. stay away unless you know what you're doing. Same goes for the framerails
