Default changed entire suspension, still high

Ok, afetr two nights the front and rear suspension is all new.
global west rear 1" drop leafs 4.5
edelbrocks rear
global west 1" drop springs
spring isolators 1/2" i think may be less
edelbrocks front
1" sway bar
opentracker uca and roller Lca
adj strut rods
roller spring perch

Now it still sits wil the front up high, not as high as it used to be but there is prob 3-4" above top of tire
Rear is LOW.... tires are 1/2" from fender lip (baseball bat to the rear lip)
Its not aligned yet but needs it, wheels look bottom in, top out. i think toe in
I was hoping that the car would drop a lot more in the front. The coil springs are at least 3-4" shorter then the ones that were in there. Will the alignment change the height at all? Did I do something wrong?

1) Is the motor in the car?
2) Did you do the Shelby UCA drop?
3) Did you torque the UCA's with the car on the ground?

If you had stock suspension on before this work then you have to keep in mind that it was sagging quite a bit. You may need to cut the front springs down a bit to get the desired ride height. As far as the rear..... I don't really know. I don't like the idea of lowering blocks. Perhaps some shorter shackles? Post up some pics.

Did you drive it? Everything has to settle in, it should come down.

starfury, yes i did the shelby drop OPR template, Yes the motor is in (289), I did torque the arms with the car in the air! Is that not right? Should I loosen them and retighten on the ground?
Devious I don't have lowering blocks, the old springs are longer then the new ones by 3-4" on the ground. The Rear is really LOW... wouldn't shorter shackles lower it even more. I need it up more now.
Oxnard Yes I drove it for a few miles. I can drive it that much need alignment and figure out the rear setup.

Ill post some before and after pics..

Put the car back up. Loosen the LCA bolts, Set it back down and then tighten the bolts. The LCA will be pinched up when the bolts are tightened off the ground.

As far as the rear goes. 3-4 inches shorter is alot. I would think this would be pulling your shackles forward alot and causing it to be sitting lower. Hopfully one of the guys that have installed the lowering springs can chime in but i would think they lower the car not by being shorter but by having less arch.

I'm sorry, somehow I totally missed the part about the rear being very low already.

Retorque the UCA's on the ground as well. You don't want any of the bushings preloaded when the car is on the ground.

What's the distance between the hub center and the fender lip in the rear?
