i have an MSD blaster 2 coil and i cant quite figure out how to properly install it in my 68 stang coupe. Its been so long since i had the original in that i dont remember what wires go where. Obviously red is positive and blac is negative but theres 3 or 4 other wires the hook up to it.

 

where do the other wires go to?
do you have a voltmeter?

 

A green wire goes to a the tachometer, another wire is coming from the ignition and 2 come from the distributor. There's one other wire that is supposed to got to the coil but I do not know where it's from. It's a grey wire. I'm gona trace all the wires today

 

Do you have an MSD ignition box? If so, the wiring diagrams are readily available on their web site.
