they are about 500 for the 8"

The tru track is really nice setup all gear driven, no clutch pack and fully transparent under normal driving conditions. Someone could replace your open diff with one and not tell you and you would never know until you mashed on the throttle and it left a pair or stripes.

There are less expensive alternatives that you could look into. I think someone mentioned something in this thread but dont remember exactly what it was..I cant say how nice they are as I have never used anything but the tru track.

Good luck

I agree with Gun here. If your not going over the 300 mark the truetrack diff in your 8" is the way to go. Its as smooth as you get and no clunk cluck when it engages. We have one in the Currie 9" rear.

If your running a stock 302 or even a mild one for that matter, why not just keep the 8 inch and upgrade it?

You can get a center section on ebay thats rebuilt with the gears you want and traction lock.

I think the seller I got my 9 inch center section from was Rmustang or something like that. If I can find the reciept, I'll post back with the seller info.

I have had mine in for a year and about 3500 miles.

I don't know if you plan on doing an OD trans swap or not. If not then stick with 3.00 or 3.20 gears.
