Default Running horse on front Quarter?

I have been kicking around the idea of putting the running horse with the 289 on my front quarter with out the "mustang" next to it.

Any thoughts?

If someone with photo shop skills could help me out, that would be great too. Thanks

i bought two and then figured that it's a mjor job to put it in from the back, so i left it off.
If you need someone to photoshop, the easiest would be if you'd take a picture flat from the side of the car, with the pictures above angles have to be worked in

As kalli said, give me a straight on shot and I'll shop an emblem on. If you want it to look halfway decent, a full car photo will make the emblem too small to work with.

I would put both parts of the badging back on. I think it will look weird with just one part.

Both the running horse and the mustang?

Also, I will be using a foam emblem adhesive so installation should be VERY simple. I wont use the pins. I dont want to risk any damage to the paint

The photo shop picture does not need to be 100%, a 65% job would be fine just to get an idea

Yeah, Both the horse and the letters.

My running horse and Mustang lettering are held on with the OE type fasteners and some black RTV. When I put the 302 emblems that look like OE 289 emblems on the front of the fenders, I used the foam double sided tape too, because I didn't want to make any holes. I also thought the same thing you are about the paint.

If you do put them back on, make sure they are in the correct spot or it will look horrible. You can get the measurements from someone with a 67-68. Just use masking tape to make a horizontal and verticle axis so you can get it straight.

I like no chrome at all on the sides. Nice and slick.

Personally I like having all the factory chrome trim. I don't like the dealer option 65-66 headlight trim though. Thats ugly.

I'm not real big on the open grille look. To me it looks empty. It does kinda look mean though.

I think that shaved emblems like rst08tierney has looks nice too.

BA, I think your car needs the rocker moldings. By the way, why is your mirror red?
