Default Gauges

Man this sucks, my gauges all the sudden dont light up any more. For some reason my headlights still work but, none of my instrument panel lights light up. I've already tried replacing the headlight switch but, not luck. Has this ever happen to anyone else?

I would try turning the dimmer switch slowly in each direction. My dimmer switch does not light up the gauges when it is all the way to the left but when I turn it slightly to the right they stay light. Probably just a loose connection?

if all the panel lights have gone out at once sounds like a bad earth
have you pullled the dash out?
do you have a '67 wiring schematic - if its anything like the 65/66 drawings it pretty much shows you where the earthing point is. Find it, tighten, done!
if your wiring is old just use care pulling the instrument panel forward as you go fishing and if you do pull any other wires off in your quest, label both ends.
have fun. its not too bad if you are patient!

As insulting as it sounds, stangguy is right, check the fuse first. IIRC, the dash lights ground through the cluster, so I don't think it can be a bad ground.
