Default Whats the best wax or polish?

Hey there, I need some opinions on which wax or polish works best on black cars. Its quite a task just keeping it clean, but when it's shiny its well worth all the work! Thanks

You want a quick detail spray on and wipe off wax, paste or liquid? I recently purchased some of that Eagle 1 Nano spray on wax and it seems to be pretty good. I also bought the paste that is not supposed to turn white. Prior to that I used the Wolfgang products. With a blue car like mine, the regular paste wax is not ideal especially with little rock pecks. The wax gets in there and stays, making the rock pecks more visable. I think Obsessive Detail is a sponsor on here or at least I've seen an ad. I got my Wolfgang products from Detail City I think. Just remember, the more carnuba in the wax, the better it is, and more costly. The Eagle 1 products are available from most auto parts stores. I'm sure there are others but these are the ones I've tried and/or currently using. I'm a former Meguires wax user. Oh and I've also used on other vehicles during bug season that spray on cleaner wax from Honda. Worked so good on my Goldwing, I started using it on the front of my vehicles and it seemed to work well. (Sold the Wing for the Vert)

I highly recommend Zaino. It will make your black car look like a mirror when you look in it. I'm on my phone so I can't post pics. Here is the website if interested. Look at the pics submitted by different customers. There are a few black cars in there. http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...ory_Code=Zaino

Whatever wax you use, make sure you use high quality all cotton towels. And, be careful of the tags, many times they are poly and will scratch.

One thing about wax, make sure you don't use it too often, as I hear it can build up, especially if your car does not experience bad weather.

Zaino is supposed to be better than just about everything on the market.

That said, I've had very good results with Meguiar's 3-step process. It's slightly different now, but still the same concept.
1) Clay bar; used after washing to clean the paint of all embedded debris and wax buildup
2) Polish; optional, used to improve gloss and remove swirl marks
3) Carnuba Wax; pure wax mixture, no synthetics

When done properly and applied with either terry cloth towels or microfiber applicators, the wax job will last 3-6 months. Finish is excellent.

My mom's bf has used this process on his '01 Accord since he bought it new. 200k miles later, the paint still looks brand new.

I use Meguiars Gold Class Liquid wax on our cars. I also use high quality cotton towels that are old bath towels.

I do not like microfiber that much. I have always used cotton towels and never had any issues.

I like all the Meguiars products I have used.
