I have some Inline 6 240 piston C3AZ-6108-AF (std). NOS parts
They have the same bore as 289 4" .
Are there any diffrens between these pistons . Is it possibly to use this piston in a 289". And rew it up to aprox 6000 rpm..

They might be a trick set up for a stroker or they might make no sense. That's a question for an engine builder. The bore is only part of it, yu also have to look at pin location and the dome configuration, ring location. You probably wold need different rods.

The pin and ring loc are the same. Also the dome. I got the FoMoCo
Passenger Chassis Catalogue for 1965 to 1966. Section 61 page No 5
And her are they for the 240 engine but when i look at the link below its diffrent.
Cant messure any diffrents between the pistons.
