Default 69 Mach I

Hi All,

My quarter trim interior panel is in good condition but faded a little bit. I want to get it black again. Does anyone know if I can use some black spray paint to do this? Please advise.

Best way is to take it out wash it with soap and water use a grease and wax remover let it dry then paint it with sem brand dye any auto parts store will have it.

Wow, seriously that works? I would have thought that the part would have been replaced.

You just saved me a bunch of money. Thanks.

Sem brand is the best dye i have used,As long as the part is good just faded you can clean it good and paint it with the dye.Pretty much anything but the carpet you can use it on and end up with a new looking piece just light coats tell you looks good to you.

If you want to get the pieces really clean tsp or trisodium phodphate is a heavy duty cleaner you have to wear gloves with,But it take all the dirt and cleaners off it.Then the normal wax and grease remover and dye it.
