Default Car Running Like Crap!! Help!

Ok so I decide to change the spark plugs and the fuel filter on my car. Did not mess with the timing as the car was running good.
After doing so I take the car out and get on it and she starts breaking up.The oil pressure sending unit ****s the bed, no big deal.
I check the carb and the gas from the jets is coming out like I am taking a leak against the wall. Not a nice steady stream. So I decide to buy a new carb. The exact same one I had on the car for the last 12 years.
Car is still running like crap at low RPM's. Car will idle fine, but as soon as I put it in drive it falls on it's face. Sounds like I have a serious vacum leak, but I don't. Sprayed carb cleaner around the carb and it seams ok?
Don't know if the carb is bad? A freind and I adjusted the floats and adjusted the idle. Played with timing and she still runs crappy. Wondering if maybe a spark plug was damaged when replacing it? Thinking of doing a compression test and checking each spark plug & cylinder?
Motor probably now has anywhere from 12,00-15,000 miles on it.
See my signature below for details. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

Could be that you cracked a plug putting them in. Or maybe just got a couple wires crossed. Go back and make sure firing order is right.
