Ok, Im sick of seeing all these punks(im 16, but not a punk) riding around thinking that their newer model mustang, is better then the classics. Frankly, I dont like any of the mustangs past 1973. Sorry Glen. Now the 05's are a little better, for the plain fact that Ford tried to base them off a 67. So i just wanted to get some opinions are which "newer" mustangs people like better.

I really love my '02 GT daily driver. But if I could afford it I'd have an '05 GT. I just love the styling cue it took from the 65 mustangs. But once my '92 is finished (which should be in about 10 years at the current pace) I am sure it will be my favorite.

yeah, i love the new 05 GT's. I dont know why they bother making a 6 cylinder. I know for fuel economy and everything, but hey, it's an American Muscle Car, they all deserve V8s.

No need to apologize to me. I have an old 65 that I would rather drive for pure fun sake than my 03 Mach. But, for go fast, It would take a very strong vintage Mustang to stay up with me in my 03 Mach. Right off the show room floor, the Mach will pulled a 14.2 quarter mile. However, I am with your guys. I much prefer the styling and performance you can possibly get with a carbureted engine. They are also very much more fun to work on. The 05 engine is just another 4.6 liter engine with 300 horsepower. The body is OK, but I am not that enamored with it. I like the looks of my 03 Mach better.

Well Glen, I have to say, your Mach looks good and yes, it's pretty fast too, but i like the 05's. There not prefect, but they still look good. They just need to produce more GT's.
