Default 12V constant when in on position.

Okay i need some help. I'm looking for 12v power when the car is on/running for my ac system. Am i correct that if I splice into the pink wire on the ignition switch i will get 12v? Or does this on have 12v on initial crank and not the entire time the car is running?
Or can you tell me where I can get 12V to run the AC?

The pink wire is not 12V. You can tap into the wire on the switch for 12V when on, at least on a '66. Otherwise, get out your test light and find a source when the switch is on, then make sure it goes off when you turn the key off.
