A weird rear end question
Someone put the Tranglulated 4 bar rear Coilover Kit from RC Motorsports while I was deployed to Iraq last year. Since then, I have put a total of 10,000 miles on my car this year. The rear end is great (coupled with the front end) except….That one of my tires sticks out about an inch more on the right side than it does on the left. Someone told me it’s because the rear end is not originally from a Mustang and that it doesn't line up correctly. But then someone else told me that I can loosen everything up and just push it over to re-align it again.
I added more pictures and did some measurements as suggested from responses below.
Center line:

The shaft looks pretty center to me.

Left and right outside to compare:

Right tire sticks out more and rubs when the gas tank is full and I hit a bump with a passenger in the car.

Left and right inside:
Left side measured 17" from disk brake to where the shaft meets the hub, right side measured 20".

I know you might ask, why don't I take it back to the people who installed it. Well, I had them pick my car up when I was 6 months out from returning home from Iraq. Thinking that 6 months would be enough time to have this installed. They kept my car hostage for an additional 4 more months after I returned and it costed a lot more than I wished and.....the workers there told me that the owner would tell them to take parts off of old cars or other customers cars and put them on other cars. He has a few lawsuits pending and I am just happy that my car is at my house. I'm not going back there in short. I just want to know what I can do to fix it, I have time now that I am home.

On the axle housing, measure from the flange to mounting position of the U bolts. If the measurements are the same I would guess the difference is in your quarters. Even on original quarters I have seen variations up to 3/8".
If the car rides great I think I would leave it alone. Afterall no one can see both sides at the same time! (Except for God, and he won't mind!) If it bothers you, go ahead and loosen the U bolts and slide the axle over to adjust.

Yeah, I've heard about the tires being off on either side by 3/8" or so, like 5o'clock said, original quarterpanels are that way on some. Just the way they are. I think it's mainly noticeable with fat tires that push the limits of the wheelwells. I don't think I'd mess with it if it rides nicely.
It's too cold right now, but this weekend I will jack it up and do some measurements. Btw, like stated here, it drives great and there no evidence of any slipage where the U bolts grab onto the axle. It just bugs me that that tire sticks out an inch more than the other side. So much that I had to adjust the shocks more to raise the back end up so that the tire doesn't rub. I'm asking and want to see what I need to do to fix it because I traded out to a 22 gallon gas tank (as in June or July Mustang Monthly) and now the added weight when full causes some wheel rub on that side when I hit a bump with a full tank.
I can understand rubbing tires can be very annoying. That is unacceptable. Yeah, swap the rear tires around and see if there is any change. Also, if the axle is centered, measure the face of the drum/disc face to the edge of the wheel well where it meets the quarter panel on both sides, to see if they are both the same distance. Which side sticks further out?
