Default Piston rings For 302 V8?

Where can i find these things cheap ive seen them for like $50, but im only 15 so im not looking for the best parts just enough to get it running. Also is it easy to adjust a clutch on a 3 speed tranny, or how much does it cost to get adjusted.
I just bought a 65 mustang in very good shape for 3300.

First things first. Who is rebuilding this engine? and you never want to put cheap rings in an engine. You might as well get some good ones, and be done with it for awhile. It is easy to adjust a clutch. If you look under the car, you could probably figure it out yourself, if not, you can ask, and i'll try and explain it.

First off, welcome to the site. You start out talking like you want to rebuild your engine, but you are only 15, and most likely have never rebuilt an engine. As pointed out, there is much more involved to rebuilding or overhauling an engine than replacing the rings. That is the cheapest part of an overhaul. You can't correctly overhaul a 289 Mustang engine on a baby sitter's salary.

yeah i will be getting a job soon. i am no longer get that mustang because when my dad went to pay for it he saw too many problems. so i will just keep looking. My dad had a 1968 fastback as a kid so he knows everything. I wish he still had it it would be worth lots and i would have a car.
