Question 302 oil pan

hey everyone. i was curious if a 302 with a rear sump oil pan would fit in the car. i'm a poor college student and i don't want to be dumping money where i don't need to. any input would be helpful, thanks in advance.

aight thanks man. looks like i'll be buying a new pan this spring/summer for it. and i could never get rid of that pickup 67mustang302, it's got too much sentimental value, and it's too much damn fun to drive. i got another question though. i have a siezed up 351w with a front sump pan. i know the pan wont fit, but would the oil pickup tube off a 351w fit on a 302?

No, I meant the oil pump pickup tube. You need the correct one for whatever pan you get.

The pickup has to be for the pan. If the pickup in question was used in multiple pans, then yes, otherwise,no.

If the pickup tube is not the right one it can get no oil at all.I had one before that was too close to the bottom of the oil pan and gave me low oil pressure.
