Default 1976 Cobra Seats?

Hi all, I appreciate your input into my query. These seats were stuck inside a 1976 Lancia Scorpion. I didn't know what they were until I pulled them out and saw a build seat stuck under one. As far as I can tell they came out of a 1976 Ford hatchback. At the bottom is the word "Cobra." They appear to be wearing their original upholstery and are in great shape. Does anyone care to shed more light on them?

I can post a scan of the build sheet if anyone's interested. I'm not sure if there's many of them still around.

Many thanks,
Dan

200 views. Can nobody confirm that these are 1976 Cobra seats? And what does that mean? A Mustang Cobra, I'm guessing?

I appreciate any input.

Thanks much,
Dan

Those look like Mustang II seats to me, not positive if they are specific to the Cobra II. Yesterday, I was on Youtube looking at videos of Cobra IIs and saw that uphostery on a couple of 75-76 Mustang IIs. Go to Youtube and search 1975 Cobra II or Mustang Cobra II. There is a great video of Charlie's Angels Jill's Cobra II.

Thanks for the input. When I did some searching for just Mustang II instead of Cobra I finally found some similar seats. Here's an example:

Thanks again!
