Just after a complete new interior was installed on my 65 the drivers side air vent started leaking water inside the car. Is there an easy way of applying a temporary fix (6 to 12 mos.) with silicone or body sealer of some type. Just trying to avoid wearing a vent cover for every wash or rain day.

 

They make a top hat shapped plastic bushing just for that repair.
