Question Ford Motorcraft Headlight Switch

I'm going to replace the original head light switch while we are rewiring under the dash.

Does anyone know if this is the correct part number for a Motorcraft head light switch for my 65 with alternator. D3ZB-11654-AA

it's tough as there was 3 gazillion headlight switches. i had the same problem once. You will need to write down the number of the one you have as otherwise chances are high it's the wrong one odered. see for example:
