Default Transition panel without shock brace?

Does anyone sell a transition panel for a 65 that does not have the shock brace with it? I am guessing that it's already welded to it and I will not be needing that piece, drilling out all of the welds sounds like a pain so I would rather get one without...or does it ship as two separate items?

It's not welded to it. You get:
1. The sheet metal transition piece/trunk floor.
2. The heavy gauge shock brace piece.
3. The little rubber plugs that cover the shock things.
4. The bracket to hold down the trunk jack.

All four individualy.

Wait wait... I am not talking about the one piece floor but just the transition... IT seems likely that it is unwelded, I cant imagine putting it in already welded?

(This piece) I hope it comes un-welded, but the picture shows some spot welds that could spell more work.

Man, drilling out all those spot welds on a new piece is going to be a pain...

The transition pan that I got recently did have the shock brace already welded to it. I seem to remember seeing one that came in two pieces while I was researching where I was going to get mine, but after searching a few catalogs I can't seem to find it now....The one I bought came from Mustangs Unlimited.

Yea, I ended up ordering the standard unit, of course my usual suspects were out of stock and Dynacorn may be a while getting them here, so I paid a premium after shipping was factored in.

At least all of my holes will be in the right place when I go to weld it to the original shock brace.
