TCP shocktower brace system
I'm in the middle of making my own shocktower brace sytem for my 1970 5.0 project car. Basicly it's just like the one from TCP. But i'm finishing it al little different. The parts will be highly polished and then anodised. I'm in between choices here, cause i haven't figured out which colour to anodise them. I'm between clear, blue or black. If there's someone outthere who has this brace system, would you please post a pic of it. I'll try to photoshop it to see what will look good.

I still need to determine the size of the heimjoints and the bars. For the 8 small heimjoints, i was thinking about M10. Fot the 2 big ones M12. As for the bars, i was thinking about using 25mm for the 4 small ones and a 28mm bar for the big one.
What do you guys think? Will these sizes work?

I would go with either Clear or Black, preference leaning toward Black. The Blue anodized with probably not match anything else in the car exactly, and would look out of place. Clear over the polish would probably make the bay a little too shiny for my particular tastes.
This is my enginebay, photo isn't up-to-date anymore. But comes really close to it. That's why i would like a photo of an enginebay equiped with an TCP bar. I need to get a better image of it(if you catch my drift)

I've painted the upper and lower intake, waterneck and waterpump in a aluminium silver. The car is a complete resto-mod. All the comforts of newer technology, but not losing touch with original features. For example: i want the car in a modern dark grey metallic (semi-gloss or matt) with orginal like matt black striping on the hood running down the sides etc. Also the interieur will be restored in it's original state.

My taste:
Last choice:
For my tastes to many variations of blue would clash. Don't know how to get all blue to match. If I can't match bold color I pick a completely different color.
Almost 1st choice?:
Aluminum metals don't match if polishing or finishing is different. Don't know why but non-matching natural aluminum does not bother me. The part must be fabricated like fine jewelry before I would consider natural aluminum.
Almost 1st choice?: Black will be the most forgiving and can still appreciate the beauty because the brace is in your face; not buried in engine compartment. It will not brighten your engine compartment though.
hmmmm....
If it were me I would pick natural polished uncoated aluminum if fabrication turns out beautiful.....yeah...thats the ticket...if i'm wrong you can store at my house
