Default gauges

Im doing a resto-mod on a 69 Mach I and trying to get my ducks in a row. We will rewire the car and gauges came up in this discussion. Are you guys reusing the factory gauges or is anyone changing to Autometers? If so, can you post pics? Also, thinking of painting a carbon fiber look over the woodgrain. Anyone done something like this to the dash?

Ok, I give up, 001mustang, where did you get that gauge set? I cant find them anywhere? in-particular the 2 5" gauges. Part numbers would be helpful.

You got http://www.jmeenterprises.com/69dash.shtml or http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.c...rod&prd208.htm or make gauges fit your stock openings.Or white face your stock ones http://whitegauges.net/products/1969...ce-Gauges.html

Im still using the stock gauges.. wouldnt mind swapping over some day though. I would probably go with dakota just the amount of info you can get out of the cluster vs the price. It does everything.
