Default 65' v6 Mustang

Hello I'm new here and im only 16 (17 in a couple of days) i have a 2000 v6.
now my question is should i buy a 65' v6 mustang. a friends mom haas it sitting in a lot. i know it needs body work, but the engine apparently runs great and the frame is good but what i am wondering is what questions i should ask and how much i should buy it for. please help me

hey man ill give you a list of what to watch out for.

check for rust in all these places:
check quarter panels
inside wheel wells
frame rails
trunk
floor pans
check the bottom of the car

i dont believe that there is a v6 65 its a inline 6. does the car have power steering or manual? power brakes or manual? A/C? deluxe interior? how does the interior look? is it painted? what kind of transmission? how many miles on it?

take some pictures and post them up here if you want, we can give you a good answer then.

without pics it could range from 1000$ to 15k

i do really want a classic but I'm pretty short on cash, and i would like the satisfaction of restoring one myself. the seller called me up again and wants $5000 minimum so im going to go see it and post pictures. tomorrow or next day.
