Well that is for their stinger mufflers. They do have others that are near $100, also saw jegs has the stingers for $150 a piece

Thats cool. I like the price of my Dynomax Ultras. Less than 100 each.

If the 302 was mine, intended for mostly street duty, and I was dead set on keeping a pair of pricey mufflers and the pipes the exhaust guy built, I'd buy a bunch of mandrel-bent elbows in 2.25", a couple of 2" to 2.25" reducers, and break out the MIG welder.

On the subject of mufflers - I don't think I spent $150 on the last PAIR of mufflers for the Malibu (I think they're Hooker Max Flows, 2.5" for a 375-ish HP 355 that'll pull a bit past 6000 rpm), and I considered them to be expensive at something like $60 each at the time. I certainly wouldn't spend another $250 just to get a slightly different sound, not when I can build the whole exhaust system from the header flanges back for less than that.

FWIW, an X-pipe system is slightly better able to cope with choosing the smaller size downstream piping than either an H or completely separate duals.

I paid $20 a piece for the ones on it now

If I redo the exhaust it would be over the summer, when I actually will get a decent amount of extra money to spend.
