Default 94 t5

will a 94 t5 tranny work for my 5spd swap. Can I just change the input shaft? Thanks.

just leave it with the 94-95 input shaft and use the 94-95gt bellhousing....it will move the shifter back 1 inch might have to mod the driveshaft a little more shorter than normal and mod the trans crossmember but it will fit...

i used a 94 t5 and ran into some issues.

The bell housing puts the cable clutch hole directly in back of the power steering ram cylinder so I would recommend change the input shaft to a 87-93 input shaft and go with matching bell. Also the t-5 cross member will need to be slotted out a at the mount because the trans sits back that much further.
