Default Cutting and grinding - good bye rust

Been driving around long enough with the floor/rear wheel housing joint rusted through and covered with duct tape. Cut out the bad parts and now I'll fabricate up some patches for it. The floor is actually not bad. The only place it rusted was the downturn lip which attaches to the wheel housing. This is the first project I have been able to do since December. I got sick with Shingles (a reactivation of the Chicken Pox virus) and the pain was so bad I just could not do anything involving sharp tools. But, four months and four hundred Vicodin tablets later I am back in the saddle.

Glad to see that rust being beaten back!
I had Shingles when I was like 9 or 10. Weird thing, my parents thought it was chickenpox as well.
Anyways, glad you are healthy and well!
