On the big end of the leaf spring there is a metal sleeve that didnt come out when the old rubber bushings came out. The urethane bushings im installing are too big to fit in the sleeve. Is the sleeve supposed to come out and the bushing fit in the eyelet of the spring itself? Its a 69 Mach I btw. Thanks.

yes that a punch or a chisel and tap them out they come out easy
