Default port efi 1970 fastback

my coworkers at work are all telling me to install a port fuel injection system on my 1970 fastback 351w instead of something simple like a holley efi carb, any suggestions on how this would work or the steps to install a port side injector system???

This is a relativly simple conversion because ford already did the hard part. The windsor series was converted over to EFI in the 80s. Some time on craigslist and you will be able to find an intake, harness, fuel rails etc for a few hundred bucks. just make sure you buy a computer from a mustang, cause of the firing order.

You will be alot more reliable and have more performance parts available to you with the ford setup.
