Default T5 5 speed ID help

So the story goes that I had bought a T5 that was supposed to be from an 86 5.0 GT car and when I got it home and ran the numbers on the tag it was a Non-WC from a 83 5.0. No big deal I only paid $150 for it and have been running it in my 66 fastback ever since with no problems. The other day I bought a T5 that came from a 93 Cobra but there is no tag on the trans and the guy claimed it was a T5Z. It is a WC, I can tell by the lower cluster bearing cap on the front. The question I have is about the front bearing retainer. I have never seen one like this one. It is super beefy and I'm wondering if that makes it a T5Z or not? The top cover is also bigger and more domed than the other WC transmissions I have seen. Can anybody out there with experience on this give me a clue? I was going to swap out the trans and get rid of the non-WC trans that I'm running now. The new trans input shaft is just over 7 inches so it looks like it should fit fine. My pics are too big and I can't seem to post. I will have to take more pics tomorrow. Thanks

I have both. The Z is in my 66 so I cannot take a peek, but I do know that it has a steel bearing retainer versus an aluminum bearing retainer of the regular T5.

I took some pics with my new camera but the files are too big. I'll try it again with my old camera and see if I can't post some.
