Typically, for the 2 striped LeMans stripes, guys are just using the LeMans Demensions. However, the First picture you showed is using the Mustangs to Fear hood, which uses a narrower hood scoop than Maier, etc. so you would want to adjust your stripe demensions accordingly or your stripes will look too large for the scoop.

What hood do you have?

Here are the LeMans Stripe demensions.

The licensed sidestripes can be found from Tony Branda, same as were used on the 67 GT500's. You can also look to Aeroform for their reproductions, which is available in a reverse stencil if you want to paint the stripes on.

i'd lay them out with a thin piece of masking and fill them in with paper or similar so you can see what it's going to look like
I'd use the original one and from there just make the striping thinner or thicker if it needs be.
I believe it's important to have them a bit off from fully straight as otherwise when you look at the car it will look off.
Best thing is to mask it up and see for yourself what you like best

Do not use the same width, it will look like crap. Follow the dimensions posted.
