I've never even heard of someone upgrading their drum brakes. I've always seen the disc brake upgrade.

I always try to be a nice forum member but...why the F%&$ would you even bother? The only way to upgrade drums is to remove them.

Before disc brakes were common place, back in the day, we used to up grade our rear brakes with bigger ones. I'm afraid I don't remember the specifics but we were using station wagon brakes. I'm not a big fan of rear disc brakes. Especially after reading about all the guys on here having problems getting them set up correctly.

If it were me, I'd invest the 15 min it takes to research the right setup rather then spend the hours getting my car towed out of the woods.

They also used to have outhouses, but some technology is there for a reason.
