Default Power bleeder or like

I will be rebuilding the proportioing and residual valve in my 69. I was thinking self bleeders but I read where they leak

What are you using on your 69 to bleed the system? Anyone have a power bleeder?

Also, if I am going to open the distribution block, how long does it take to get the air out of it????

I am a huge fan of gravity bleeding, it doesn't really take that long, it works great for me, and the cost for tools is near zero. (only cost is to me is for tubing to get the fluid from the bleeder valves past the painted stuff.)
