Default ride height help

Hi, my recently purchased 66 mustang was lowered by the previous previous owner but due to were i live isnt practical. I still want the lowered look just a bit higher because it just slighty scrapes so i want it a few mm heigher. below are pictures of my mustang and i was wondering with your knowledge if you knew how much it is lowered by because i dont know weather to purchase 40mm lowered springs or original height spring and cut myself.

if you have a picture of a lowered mustang and know how much it is lowered by that would help a lot also

thanks very much, Dan

Get a stock set of springs and install them. Once you see how high the front end sits, you can judge how much to cut off. Don't cut them with a torch, make sure you use a cut-off wheel.

where are your wheels rubbing. If you wanted to leave it that low you could aways install lower control arm eccentrics. This would bring the top of the tire in giving you more clearance if that is where the rubbing happens.

The wheels don't rub at all it's the exhaust that scrapes over humps and speed bumps due to the car been very slighty too low. If I was to buy new original springs due I use an angle grinder to make them shorter? Thanks
