Paint job gone wrong?
I spent 3 hours buffing it out last night (no pics yet. Got most of it looking like the hood.)
I'm wondering how long I have to wait before applying wax. I know this has been asked and answered a million times, but people are always talking about clearcoat. Never heard anyone talk about how soon you can wax single stage urethane. It's baked out in the sun for a couple hours, been wetsanded and buffed. Now I'm tempted to apply some Meguire's Mirror Glaze 26 to get an even better gloss, but I'm hesitant. How long do you have to wait for a single stage? and what's the worst that can happen if the wax is applied early?

What is good for someone else may not be good for you from brand to brand even in the same style paint.

As far as waxing, I'd wouldn't worry for a while.
The deal is that it's best to wait at least 30 days (I usually wait 60 days) with any kind of paint really.
Solvents still trying to escape long after you put the paint gun down.
Today's materials are schit compared to what they used to be less than 10 years ago (while costing 3 times more).
You can thank the EPA and tree hugger idiots for that.
They made the manufacturers lower the VOC content in high solid paint to the point where it's not high solid anymore, lol.
Shrinkage is King!
It's also harder and harder to get a good match and so on.
