the original starter I had wasn't correct and the flywheel hit the head of it preventing the engine to rotate. the part store guy gave me this one:http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web..._539115960____

but it doesn't look like it will fit either because of the head. is this one right or have I hit another road block?

 

there's short type and long type starter. so if the one that you had hit the flywheel not engaging I think you're looking for the short type
