The color kind of depends on what you plan to do with the rest of the car. Keep it stock, what kind of wheels, interior color, etc.

And how good is the body work? If there's a single dent in the car, then painting it black is going to show it and highlight it for everyone to see.

Also, what color is the interior? If the interior is black, then any color will go with it. If the interior is turquoise, then that kinda limits down your options of what would look good.

the color code for the car is meadowlark yellow and its never been a different color except for now its primer. Body is perfect I have spent the last couple months blocking the whole car. Interior is Black and always will be. It has weld forged five spoke drag wheels. Skinnies in the front fats in the rear, they are polished. The car is very far from stock.

I have owned the car for 10 years and it has been my drag car for the past 6 years. I am going with the same drag look but as a street car. No more big cubed small block and no more nitrous.

Then I'd say go with black. Black with black interior looks sharp, and if you're sure you have all the imperfections out of the way you'll have a fantastic finish in the end.

I voted staying original. You just don't see those original colors around.

I voted staying original. If the interior is black, the car would still look great the original color. You could always customize the original color somehow. But if you didn't want the original color, then I'd say black since your interior is black. That is always an awesome look, especially if you want a badass look.

yeah I have it narrowed down to the semi flat black or the original yellow with a little more yellow in it so its not as cream looking.
