Default 68 Coupe build

Well I have been on the forums for a while now and I am finally started the build on my 68 so why not do a build thread.

The car is a 68 coupe with a 6cyl as of now, It has 369,000 miles on it and has never been into. Surprisingly still runs like a champ just blows a little smoke. I got the car when I was 15 for my birthday. I have had a lot of mustangs over the past 14 years and never really touched this one because I had no idea what I wanted out of her. Well after having to sell my 68 drag car due to a nasty divorce I have finally decided that I am gonna build this one into a nice little street screamer(thankfully the title was still in my dads name and the evil woman couldn't take it too). For the most part it is all original and all have have done is keep it running. I've put 20,000 miles on her in 14 years and most of that was when I was in high school. My plans as of right now are to get the body and suspension ready to handle a 351w. But I will keep the 6ixer in it for at least another year. Here are a few pics of what I am starting with.

Looks like a nice clean slate, any 'style' you are leaning towards? sleeper original exterior, shelby influences, TransAm, etc.?

I am going to go TransAm with a little bit of Drag influence. Going with a little deeper brighter yellow and the Terlingua black front, and a black tail light panel. With Centerline warrior drag wheels skinnies in the front with meats out back.

that license plate has been one the car so long I think it has became one with it. It will have to go on the new valance just because it wont be the same without it.

Bag & tag every piece, nut, bolt, part is my suggestion at this point. Get some heavy plastic storage boxes (black/yellow ones from lowe's are great) and try to keep sections together.

Been doing that since the start, I have made that mistake before.
