Mine are a little louder than the std. manifolds. I also get more heat and more vibration vs. stock manifolds. Tri Y 's are more for better breathing than for sound. For sound you need to look into a exhaust and mufflers.

I run those on mine along with a 2 1/2 dual system and Flow Master 40's. It's pretty loud out the back it rumbles pretty good inside too. I haven't really drove it hard yet to really hear what it sounds like opened up.. the engine has less then 300 miles on it right now and i'm still in the nursing stage..lol.

They are very good headers. If you get them ceramic coated that will cut down on the heat inside the engine compartment. I have heard of guys getting the long tubes, and they have problems with them dragging on speed bumps. Others have said that isn't true.
