Default Thoughts on this Leak??

After my car gets good and hot, a drive around town, I noticed it started leaking. I took a video of it, hoping it would help, but I'm not sure where it's coming from. It's right by the spark plug, but I can't tell if it's the plug or the exhaust manifold. When I rev it, smoke spurts out. Thanks all!!

I would have to say its probably oil dripping from a leaky valve cover.

Thanks for the input!! It visually looks like it's coming from the spark plug or right under it. I don't see any oil. It's just popping smoke out.

Ha! I hear you. I went and tightened down all the valve cover bolts. They were all pretty loose. I took it for another drive to see if it happened again, and it did. I'm starting to think it's a leak in the exhaust manifold connection to the engine. Still not sure... There's no reason the spark plug would puff smoke is there?

WHat does it smell like? I would chenge your valve cover gaskets. It smokes when it drips onto exhaust manifold. shouldnt smoke out the spark plug.

I'm going to check the spark plug today. Is it even possible for a spark plug to spit smoke?

make sure it isnt leaking from around the bolts that hold the valve cover in place. that has happened on mine before.

It seldom happens with the sparkplugs they make today, but the ceramic CAN separate from the steel and allow a combustion chamber leak..
