Default Need advice

So im 18 years old and I took on a project of a 67 mustang, I work 40 to 50 hours a week outside of school and my freshman year I restored a 63 dart as a beach car.

Im having issues with the engine, the car is a 17 year old barn car and the man that sold it to me has been restoring covettes and muscle cars for 50 years, he sold it to me for 2100 even and the body is solid. He didnt touch the car and decided to sell it as a barn find.

Can you tell me what the heck this is?

it plugs into an electric socket?.

Only thing I can think might plug into an electric socket is a block heater of some kind. Where do the hoses connect?

Yeah like a diesel. Or to keep the battery charged during long storage?

Its likely a old electric engine block heater seeing as it is tied into the heater hoses.

yes, guaranteed a block heater. cold winters where that car came from?
work in such a way that you plug them in to socket and it heats the engine for you so its nice and cosey when you drive off in winter. (engine says thanks as well)

Yup, it's a block heater. It warms the engine coolant.
