1965-66 conv
Convertibles are built with quite a bit more reinforcment than a coupe or fastback, with the torque boxes and inner rocker panels. I would say that subframe connectors on a convertible would be over kill. If the structure of the car is solid I would not do subframe connectors. If the structure needs work then do that work like, replacing the inner rockers if needed, or torque boxes if needed. Subframe connectors will not help to correct any problems if the structure is not sound.
Ya after doing a coupe to vert conversion wow. Your tq boxes are already tied into eachother with the inner rockers then you have a cross support under the seat floor pans. I guess they would help but these would not be my first choice if their were other things that needed to be done.
