Question Need help - Looking for a spacer

Can anyone point me to a source for steel spacers?

I need a spacer with an ID of 1.0 inch, an OD of about 1.43 inch, and a thickness of about 0.415 inch.

I can do some light machining so something slightly bigger will work.

Thanks for any advice!

For installation of an adjustable strut rod. My car is a 1971, the strut rod is for a 1970. The mounting hole in the frame is a slightly different size, so I need a different spacer. Global West does not make an adjustable strut rod for a 1971, which is why I ended up with the 1970. They are looking for the right spacer too, but I am also doing my own search.

You can buy a adjustable one for it http://www.streetortrack.com/Street-...-pr-16135.html

Those look like nice units too! I already have the Global West strut rods, and like them so far. Seem to be of very high quality. If I can't get them to work, then I'll consider these others, but for now I would rather get the Global West ones installed.

How about using some 1" washers as spacers?

I'd check mcmaster or msc direct, they have a lots of oddball stuff you wouldn't expect to find.
