Default Carb Cleaning

What do you guys use for cleaning your carburator's body ? I can't seem to get the grease off.
I let it soak in engine degreaser & carburator cleaner and that did the trick a bit, but there is still a brown layer on it i cant seem to get off.
I want to get the shiny metal again.

Can you guys recommend something ?

Get a can of carburetor cleaner (Not the aerosol can) and soak it overnight in a coffee can or something. Should be squeaky clean the next day.
